Poem By Waver Sullivan
Desire: is it looking at the sky, hoping you could fly,
or wishing you could die?
Desire: is it longing to be loved by someone,
or is it wanting to be a free man?
Desire: is it looking at a beautiful woman,
or is it the colour of her eyes, so blue like a shimmer in the Adriatic?
Why is desire so mystic?
Desire can be an illusion that torments our dreams
and never becomes real.
Desire can be greed or a selfish need that grew from a seed.
May my desire not turn to lust nor may I lose God's trust.
