Born during the cool hours of night,

dewdrops sparkle like tiny beacons of light.

Nature's prism, a gift of delight,

reflect rainbow colors of light.

Diamonds of dew in moonlight,

dance as elves clothed in purple, blue, and white.

Dewdrops so lovely, so fragile in starlight,

watch death come with warm sunlight.
