Diamonds are pure and fine,
by Glenn Grabbe
How they sparkle, how they shine.
Precious jewel clasped in gold
With some mystery from of old
Puts your mind in a trance
Inspires thoughts with romance.
And its value is enough
To make you dig it in the rough.
Cut it, clean it, make it shimmer
Give it gold to make it glimmer.
Clear and sharp when it's complete,
Diamonds hold a special heat
Light rays enter full of force
Get dispersed through its course.
Lover's heart it will touch
Lights her face up just as much.
