Dilemmas Of Self

Poem By Bhartendu Second

When I am alone
and quietness breathes
into my lungs

a sparrow enters
the silences of my being

Fractured I watch
floating selves
suggesting
new horizons
to my
rigid ego

I find many in
what I had known
as the indivisible one

Dear Rajbir this poem/spiritual-teaching-in-a-nutshell is simply wonderful. You've told me you write in Hindi and I know nothing of the sound of your language. if there is a way of writing equivilent sounds, would you once? so we could just 'hear' your voice. This is a very brave poem. Anne
