Don'T Pretend And Hide

Poem By Hopeless Heart

I talk in stanzas and verse
Some might say it’s a curse
Others will say it’s a blessing
Even though what I say is depressing

I can’t help my lyrical spiel
It just happens to be what I feel
I don’t mind if it makes you sad
Just as long as you can’t say it’s bad

Cause’ you know what I write is great
You tried but you lost that debate
These words and rhymes are true
No one knows this better than you

Secretly by your night light
You read everything I write
You memorise my every verse
Making your secret addiction worse

Don’t try and blame it on me
I wasn’t the one who made you see
That this is all more than just
Some stupid writings about love and lust

I’m glad you were able to open your eyes and see
That this could work for me
That I could live off this
That it was worth the risk.

Sleep

Sleep
Sleep precious
Sleep my love

From Dawn To Dusk

As the sky darkens I think of you
And all the things you said you would do
You said you would always be there
You said you would always care

Not Time Yet

A world without eyes
A world filled with lies
Truth hidden deep
Never spoken, not a peep

Blooming

Hold my breath,
Close my eyes,
Waiting for the ripping
Deep inside

The Rose

The rose lying dead
Upon the drenched ground,
Bruised, hurt and broken

I Am Me

I’m crumbling from within
My minds in a continuous spin,
Round and around it goes
I’m great at hiding so no one knows
