Don't Stir My Calm Water

Don't stir my calm water
There is an active volcano
Ready to erupt
Inside of me.

Keep your hands
To yourself
If you strike me
A serpent is ready
To inject its venom into you.

Keep your harsh words
In your mind
Tame your mouth
Otherwise the hornets
Will hush you forever.

I tell you
Don't stir my calm water
You will be sorry
If you do.

Convinced me, Rosie dear. Gonna be real respectful! Powerful write.
We all know that words can either heal or mar. Some people are so callous and careless in using words and they never care how much their words would hurt others. Such people have to be sternly dealt with. An apt tirade for all those who deserve it. Here very suggestive images are used in powerful and logical succession! A 10
A Keep your harsh words In your mind Tame your mouth Otherwise the hornets Will hush you forever. A stern warning to someone who has severely wounded the poet! The words here assume the sharpness of a cudgel. Apt images are used in logical succession.
