Dotted Love

Poem By Stephanie Apila

It's either affection or resentment
Do you call this love?
The one which isn't clear!
Your love is only full of
Exclamations and
Dashes and
With frequent stop overs
Your actions are unpredictable
Engulfed in decimal points
Is it love or resentment?
Aid me decipher.

The Smell Of Plasma

Down in the villages and up in townships
In the northern part of the pearl
Not long ago did the war surge
A dissembler of a kind

You Inspired Me

Zilch about poetry was ever a pun in my life,
That was all my trainer's doing

Emited Power

All was lost to the fire for ash,
When left with no point to own that strength
The power of ‘enlightenment'
That kept me in a wrong place

A Dripping Heart

Inward bleeding was excess to carry,
My heart bled for the intended deaths
The abducted young innocent girls and boys
For the mothers, illegitimates were implanted in them
