Down The Dark Road

Poem By Lance Carthen

I dont know whos right.
I dont know who's wrong.
I dont know what makes this world tick.
Rainbows have lost their color.
Imagination fades away.
The most beautiful dreams turn to shit.
Silence becomes your friend.
Darkness becomes your light.
Roll up your dying emotions...
Compact the fear inside.
Each cut releives the pain.
Each scar your hearts bandage.
You find peace in the rain.
No prayers can heal your damage.
The tears that fall are bitter.
From your eyes...a shade of grey.
Your soul died without even a whimper.
Leaving you so hollow...on earth to stay.

A little baby is God's precious gift to all
From the moment she smile's
To the day that she crawl's
When she look's at you so sweetly

Forget Me

Do I still cross your mind?
The love you thought you left behind.
If you open your book of forgets, its me you find.
Off in the black vacuum I cry.

My Babies Beautiful Blue Eyes

My baby has blue eyes.
Her blue eyes mesmerize.
My baby was my wish.
Wouldnt trade the world for this.

...A Tear Fell

I could cry a sea of tears.
I could pray all night and day.
Walk down the road that we walked.
And dream of yesterday.

My Fish (Lance The Lonely)

They swim around merrily in their tanks throughout the day.
In my big tank there is two oscars a pacu and a blue guoarmie on display.

Death, Lust And Promising Smiles

I wish I could have seen it.
The dark beauty is translucent,
A rose reflection without petals,
The dry waterfall tastes so bitter.
