Fudge And The Leaping Lizard

Poem By Sidi J. Mahtrow

Expected yet unexpected feelings
Cruising through
Mind in dilemma
Trying to synchronize each movement
Closed with unfamiliar images
Frame by frame. Cut to present
Its six in the evening
Travelling along the reaches of the road
Streets illuminated by lights
I hear strange whisperings
Kind of incantations
Dissolving the walls of memory
An enigma it seems
My heartbeat plunges, the mind goes blank
What remains now is
The notion of infinite gentle strange vibrations

Dream as you said in the last line is 'The notion of infinite gentle strange vibrations' It is an extra God-given vision to experience any pleasure or pain, what we cannot have while we are awake.
Hi Bindu, It's an interesting topic to write a poem on. Even I have made some attempts :) Your last line had the faint echo of TS Eliot's Preludes.. 'I am moved by fancies that are curled Around these images, and cling: The notion of some infinitely gentle Infinitely suffering thing.'
