Tossing and turning,
by Brian Joseph Dickenson
Sweating and yearning.
My dreams are all about you.
I awake all alone in my crumpled bed.
Thoughts of you still racing my head,
How cruel fate can be:
Why NOT you and me?
Why do Gods play games with our hearts?
To find you now when it’s too late:
How I detest this fickle fate:
So I’ll wait for the next time around.
