Dreams

Poem By Klaudia Eastwood

Hold onto your dreams,
for if they break and die,
Life us a broken winged bird,
that can no longer fly.
Hold onto your dreams,
for if they are forgotten and go,
Life is a field of grass,
frozen with icey snow.

Defying

I am defying all of the light from my world,
I am defying all of the love from my heart.
I am defying the thought of my life being curled,
I am defying the thought of the earth not coming apart.

Ink

Pouring your heart out in the form of ink,
Onto paper in words, constantly feeling the sting.
Only its messy scrawl feels the pain,
Of your unbearable loss and your struggle to gain.

Now

There is no fire without the flame
There is no grief without the shame
There is no shine without the star
There is no pain without the scar

Ex-Best Friend

This is for you, my ex best friend.
This is for all the care you'd portend.
This is for all the jokes and laughs,
This is for when you'd give the better half.
