Drought

Carcasses lie
Mouths are dry
Bare fields where crops once grew
Active minds that now are blue
Buckets will be filled
Fools will be billed
Restrictions will be put in place
Just enough to wet our face
Dry dams
And dying Lambs
God rain on us please
We need some water to wash our knees
