(e) 11 (Dark) The Coiled Roots

Poem By Renu Rakheja a.k.a Tranquil Ocean

Its dark inside
The roots long and twisted
Slithering, twining, coiling
Around my senses...
Roots of 'Me'
Roots of The Fear Tree
Roots of authority
Roots of my precepts
Roots of the screens of beliefs
Longing to burst out
Spring out of the confines
Of my Mind
Its made me blind
Its blocked my eardrums
Its squeezing ALL my senses
I cant breathe
And then
An acrid stench
Of burning flesh
My flesh?

T.O.>>>WOOOOSH! THAT TREE CERTAINLY HAS ITS ROOTS OUT FOR YOU....BUT FEAR NOT YOUNG LADY, AS THAT MUNDUNGUS STENCH YOU SPEAK OF, IS NOT YOUR FLESH ATTALL, BUT INSTEAD THE ROTTED, ABJECT SCORCH OF THE TREE'S BARK! NICE WRITE, MS. OCEAN....YOU DO ROCK THE IMAGINATIVE METER! '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''FJR
