Eagle's Wings

Poem By Shirley K.W. Ka

Each Bird came with a set of Wings,
Like out of Adam God made Eve.
A promising flight by a fastened bond,
A promising height that scrapes the sky.
Wings flew Eagles through all times,
Together they are one.

No Eagle tears off her injured Wing, to lessen body weight,
But bears with it till doom.
How did these Wings tear off his Eagle’s back,
And fly away itself?
And departed not when her claws were fastened,
But dropped her, at the peak of height.

Dark Allies

Dark Allies on an empty street,
Only silence fills the gaps.
Nothing shines to give a guide,
Or inspires one to step inside.

Doubt Of The Heart

If only it was a rock inside my chest,
A heart carved out of steal,
That beats not, moves not or cursed to feel;
Emotions born to burn, and shatter dreams.

Deep In Our Hearts

What are we?
Holding hands in the dark,
I feel it, we're so complete.
Yet out in the open, we're side by side,

I feel no straining pain
Nor beating heart
I feel no cold, in the frost
Numbed to the core

Child In Darkness

There's a child crying in darkness,
where she hid herself.
She can't seem to find the pieces,
of what she knew so well.
