Ecstatically Overjoyed

Poem By Michael P. Johnson

Overjoyed, a Christian to be
Truly thrilled, excited
Sin repented, absolute free
God! to Life's invited

On life's border, passports we need
God's Holy Ghost within
Maintaining ones heart free of weed
Ones precious soul, of sin

Ecstatically, over the moon
Each new morning I rise
Today tomorrow, surely soon
God! I'll see, with my eyes

The Lord God, Creator, of me
Maker of Heaven and earth
Who saw, bothered, who set me free
Deliberate! giving new birth

Sinless, as a baby in arms
Of The living Christ risen
Snuggling warm, free of life's harms
Not, in debtors prison

If I am happy, should you! be sad
You need no more to cry
Like me, Jesus can make you glad
Living, never to die

Pay heed my friend when truths I tell
While living facts I show
While most mankind will burn in hell
Heaven, is where I'll go!

Come join me now, believe my tale
Think of your precious soul
God's living Christ can never fail
To bring us to our Goal.....

I Trust In Jesus

Before this body turns to dust
Before this world I leave
Upon The Lord I’ve placed my trust
Upon The Rock I’ll cleave

Wars, Wars, Wars

There’s so much hatred round the place
The world seems not to care
For though we travel into space
There’s fighting in the air

A Cry In The Dark

How deep in life I had to fall
Living a constant lie
But then with back against the wall
I couldn't help but cry

A Word To Parasites

A WORD TO PARASITES
Some spend themselves though never groan
Whilst Jesus' sheep they feed
They deem God's money not their own

{1} The Spirit’s Touch

“Lord, let my praise scale Your mountain
Let Your grace be a fountain
Allow Your truth fill unsaved ears
There to abide eternal years

Pride

How foolish are your songs of pride
When Jesus seeks to come inside
Humble yourself reject your shame
Receive my Spirit’s purging flame
