Elixir

With elixir to cure all ills
Pain throbbing from solitude
East from the Black hills
Heart battling like Little Bighorn
From the site of Mount
Rushmore
Giving up hope and left forlorn
Beside a tree daydreaming and trying to
ignore
Blest the moment that finally came
Highly fortunate that time did heal
Mending the sadness and extinguishing the
flame
From gloom to glee circulated the wheel
Destiny written, fate, fortune and luck
No more misery, need no more
From some eccentric, a real schmuck
Finally can walk peacefully by the shore
