Elohim

Poem By Ofelia E.M.K. Shook

I know that momentary pleasures,
Do not hold true.
I have known it from the start.
No one knows what lays...
Beneath the skin of man,
Inside an organ called, "The heart."
Within a bell rings...
A butterfly on wings...
The flutter that it causes is unknown.
And, yet somehow they can be shown
Unfolding like the petals of a rose.
So, you behold the truth untold.
The many treasures that lie there,
Will bare, a small unbroken character...
So, I have looked, and found,
A greater love abounds...
Beyond the limits,
Of this God forsaken plane...
The answer to the pain...

Shekina Glory

My heart may beat to the beat of a different drum.
It can thunder and rage, as the whirling winds.
And as I climb that mountain which is at the highest summit.
I may fall a thousand times.
