Enchantment

In quest of the Rose,
the hero ambles.
Brashly he goes,
entangled by brambles

more and more thick,
choking out light.
He feels a prick,
then onset of night.

He lies asleep
upon a bier.
The forest is deep.
Who will come here?

I recall a scene from Sleeping Beauty - is that your inspiration for this one, maybe? Linda
beautiful
Ah, a new light to a fantasy of sleeping men than woman...
i like the idea that a male hero is falling into an enchanted sleep...usually it is 'us' females and 'us' who wait to be kissed back to life! u.
