End Of The Road

The road ahead is long and steep.
There is nothing to dread,
be strong, don't weep.
It will take many years
to reach the top.
So hold back your fears,
we will eventually stop.
When we reach our destination
there will be a man at the gate.
He determines if our hearts are full
of love or hate.
If we are full of love and
forgiven for our sin,
he will open the gate and let us in.
If we are full of hate and we just don't care,
then it is too late. Our souls he can not spare.
