Endlessness Of Time

I continually
take the past
bring it forward

trying to
make it the
future

But the door
has been
closed
and locked

the key thrown
into the
endlessness
of time

somewhere
at the bottom
of the ocean.

The future is unkown; but, to remember the past. Thanks for sharing.
This is one of your best poems I must say! We all say that we must live in the present! But our past and present are inextricably connected together that we can hardly estrange ourselves from them and they make our future to a great extent! Enjoyed!
A poem, many of us can relate to. A lovely write.
Short profound deep and brilliant write. We need to search the key from deep ocean of time. your poems are free from all complexities and common reader can easily understand. My one senior colleague told me, you know all popular rhymes like twinkle twinkle little star etc. are written in soft words. I find same in your all poems short sweet and easy with deep meaning. Thanks for share. Regards.
