England! ! Land Of Angels

Poem By Michael P. Johnson

She’s crossed the seas to every man
With messages of love
Coincidence or Heaven’s plan
God named her from above

Land of angles is her name
God’s messenger of light
Born of passion baptised in flame
Arrayed in robes of white

Tiny England of no repute
An island fresh and green
Received the news of David’s Root
Addressed to Heaven’s queen

Messengers were soon to rise
Equipped with truth on high
To vanquish all of Satan’s lies
And comfort those who cry

England, England once small and weak
Holder of God’s parole
Equipped to serve each child who’d seek
The Saviour of their soul

To north to south to east and west
Life’s messengers went out
Living dying doing their best
To rid the world of doubt

Though many were His servant’s trials
Through periods of sin
Yet great became God’s chosen Isles
Through fire that dwells within

Praise God for England of the past
The now and yet to be
Serving her Saviour First & Last
Setting His children free

I Trust In Jesus

Before this body turns to dust
Before this world I leave
Upon The Lord I’ve placed my trust
Upon The Rock I’ll cleave

Wars, Wars, Wars

There’s so much hatred round the place
The world seems not to care
For though we travel into space
There’s fighting in the air

A Cry In The Dark

How deep in life I had to fall
Living a constant lie
But then with back against the wall
I couldn't help but cry

A Word To Parasites

Some spend themselves though never groan
Whilst Jesus' sheep they feed
They deem God's money not their own

{1} The Spirit’s Touch

“Lord, let my praise scale Your mountain
Let Your grace be a fountain
Allow Your truth fill unsaved ears
There to abide eternal years

How foolish are your songs of pride
When Jesus seeks to come inside
Humble yourself reject your shame
Receive my Spirit’s purging flame
