Ensanguined Moon

The sun has sunken
To be replaced with a
Ensanguined moon.
The wolves howl
To let there malaise
Known to the world.
A young girl has passed
As the crimson blood
Stains the carpet.
A mother weeps.
A young girl sleeps,
Never to rise again.
The sun had sunk
To be replaced with a
Ensanguined moon...

You have a wonderful way with words. you use them effectively. I like poems that dont take themselves too seriously. they may be serious in nature but if they sound too overly dramtaic it just makes them sound silly. you use your words and feelings to great effect. i feel the sadness and the ominous ensanguined moon...
