Epitaph

Heap not on this mound
Roses that she loved so well:
Why bewilder her with roses,
That she cannot see or smell?

She is happy where she lies
With the dust upon her eyes.

A lot of truth in this short write. Really when we cover a grave with flowers, we don't do it for the deceased. We do it for ourselves. Very introspective piece.
