Every Single Winter.

I've tasted disappointment before,
In fact I was raised
On a fairly stready diet of it.
With the occasional splash of humility

Still its tenacity amazes me.
Its constant capability
To adjust and wait so patiently.
To leave us just enough time to forget.

So that every wound is raw.

Your poems tend to be very dark and atmospheric, like emotional outbursts accuratley portrayed. The imagery is quite intangible, but in a evocative way. I like your work alot.
