Everyman's Death: A Rainbow

Now I shall paint my masterpiece
A colorful portrait of self
My wrath
I'll paint blood red
My envy, bile green
Lust appears flesh tone
While greed, the golden color of my hair
Gluttony's hue, a fecal brown
And Pride
The vainglorious blue of my eyes
Last comes sloth as black as my poor tired soul
My regret, sorrow, and pain
Covering all the canvas
Unseen
Washed over with the clearest tears
A trivial portrait, really
Fading to insignificance
