Everyone Became Silent And Wrote

Poem By Charles Chaim Wax

as I opened the Journal Folder
to Louise Zincke’s paper
which she handed in two weeks ago
the last time she appeared in class:
“Who should I blame for my down falls? myself? my mother? I may not blame her for my falls, but I do blame her for her down falls. Most of the time when she fall, I fall. One specific time I fell with her was when she got pregnant with me. She was confused and I was caught up in the confusion.”
I quickly placed A+
on the paper
suddenly
joyous
feeling my babbling
about the miracle
of the Journal
was actually true.
