Face

Slowly building up the base
Closed eyelids watch intently
Slowly it starts to form a face
But it doesn't face them directly

Mouth open wide and eyes sewn shut
Commanding the ignorant masses
They follow through every valley, every rut
Only wanting wine for their glasses

Pleasure and pain, the line is now a haze
The face that wants your mind
Opens his eyes to claim his days
To discover that he's still blind

I see a face in the air I hear a voice perhaps too I sense a touch once again I read these lines again and again.
I love the symbolism! Great job!
