Fade Away

Poem By John Bounds

My life has truely faded
away from the sun
And my words become jaded,
trite and overdone
Why am I left to wonder here
when things never change
is there nothing left to fear
unless my last breath kills the pain

I`ve lost all sense of vitality
to the coldness of life
Pressure has overwhelmed me
cut deep its knife
slowly disolve within myself
where I always fail
wish I were someone else
than me so stale

I'm aware of an expected end
but will it ever come
false securities I don`t pretend
when everything is numb
Need to learn to be prepared
when I`ll start to live again
alone in my thoughts I share
like the child I was way back then

Here I bleed, cause I feel so ugly
I`m in need, can't find that remedy
if someone could only reach down
where I scream without a sound
to pull me from this filthy grey
that wants my life to fade away

Very well written to explain your pain that was so grey and faded. Keep writing, keep fighting! H
