Faith Without Works

Do friends and neighbours Jesus know?
Your family, about hell?
Have you bid, them in to church to go?
Ringing salvation's bell

While the world grows ever violent
To hell, paving the way
Christians, remain dead silent
But secretly to pray

Faith without works, we're told is dead
This quote, we'll oft recite
On sofas, chairs, sleeping in bed
Comfy within The Light

Of course, God knows one may be shy
Oft fearful to stand
But watching unsaved people die
Without lending a hand

A place with God, no one can earn
How large or small their shame
Will this matter not Christ concern?
When people feed hell's flame

If God's servants, would Truth cease giving
If none, God's Word would share
If without Christ, you were living
As lost souls everywhere

Unable to sing life's victory song
Ignorant of higher ground
Would not you cry 'Something was wrong'
When deep in hell you're found

Your place is here, your time is now!
Give God all doubts and fears
Sing, preach, teach, at Christ's feet to bow
Before His cloud appears.....
