Falling Apart

Poem By Alicia Blackwell

I have been knocked down
And when I got up I was wearing a frown

With my heart torn and shattered
I had to look deep inside and see what mattered

And what I find filled me with fear
Because my love you for you was still there

You say I have your heart
But then why do we seem so apart

We are starting to live separate lives
No matter how hard we both try

Things are hard to change
And things can never go back to being the same

If our love comes to a end
I hope we remain friends

A Trucker's Poem

When on the road he is all alone
The only way he gets to spend time with his family is by phone
It seems like the road is never going to end
But on them long stretches of highway he makes new friends

These Are The Days

These are the days we live and die
We cry our tears while side by side
The days and hours fly silently by
Like the birds that fly high in the sky

Gone But Not Forgotten

My grandfather left alot of us behind
With love and memories of our good times

He had a warm and caring soul

His hands held our souls
They were stronge and bold

For they once were nailed to a cross

Abuse Of A Loving Wife

When the beatings start
You forget the love in your heart

When I love you starts to mean nothing at all
