I don't want the sun,
I don't want brightness,
I don't mind staying in the dark,
and I don't care about freedom.
All I want is my family.
The slightest touch is better than a lavish life,
the happy old classics are better than the solitary hits.
Fun changes its meaning,
and even tears change their value.
Perceptions have dulled,
emotions have ceased,
and the sweet melody still resounds within the cracked walls.
I'm not afraid to die,
I'm afraid of being unwanted,
I'm not afraid of tangible danger,
because life knows what hurts the most,
and it definitely is not physical.
Longing for closeness,
the feeling arrived too late.
Family is the only warmer left in this coldness,
quite scary, isn't it?
