WAD (April 2,1982 / Riyadh K.S.A)

You sit across the room,
prim and proper,
with your hair in all its glory,
and your flawless pink cheeks.

You smile when i walk by,
sweet and sober,
with your perfect white teeth,
and your ruby lush lips.

You stare at me when i stare at you,
bolder and dearer,
than your large round eyes,
and your infectious grin.

You ask me if i'd like to stay,
simple and sinsiter,
despite your loving signifcant other,
lover gone off to law school.

Simple and heartfelt. A nicely done poem.
