Fate

Fate is an ending
To all of your dreams
A reason for your pain
All your fears, all your screams
Fate explains the blood
Every disappointment, every “no”
Every break of your mind
Finally knowing why you’re losing control
Fate digs deep into your skin
Like a needle searching for a vein
But it won’t say what it’s doing to you
What it’s causing; what it contains
Fate is tearing me apart
All the emptiness spilling out
Will it finally bring a conclusion
Having a purpose is what I doubt
Fate decided that I die
Not burn out, just fade away
Into nothing; into no one
Just another life lost; just another day
