Poem By Neela Nath Das

Before going to the
zone of unconscious,
you called me by my name.
'I'm going, my shoulder
is having a shiver'- - -
were your last words to me.
Father, my father,
I still can remember
the day, the hour,
the min, the sec.
It has bordered me,
has chained me,
to a special word- - - - - -FATHER!
I stroll on the lane
of memory, I look for you,
I remember the bruise
on your left cheek,
your bravery, your affection.
I feel you everywhere.
In loneliness,
I pat on the butt
of your gun
to get the touch
you left thirty
years back!
I was a mere child
when you left us all.
But, till date
I Love You
as I used to love you
in my childhood.

Walk With Me A While

Walk with me for a while,
Throw your glum, and please, smile-
Our heaven is not very near.....
See there a grove of pine,

My stupid I,
do not know,
the sight of the
falling snow.

Clothes torn, ragged & patched
Beauty has taken renunciation long past;
She has no rank,

100s Of Years

Trees can live for hundreds of years,
They well know to live together!
They tuft to earth, as child's to mom,
Light, water, and air they do share!

My Dream, My Pet

It lies and sleeps with me
and wakes me up, in the morning.
It sweeps my gloomy sky and
mops the soot of mind's every corner.
