To Rene'

I don't care where I'm going,
I know where I am

I'm not worried about the future,
I've never been to the past

I'm not sad about what's missing,
only joyful for what's present

I am here and not there
—and my words to make it so

Home is supposed to be a place where everyone feels safe, secure, and loved. There are just circumstances that force people to leave their homes. This world needs healing and mending.
no one leaves home until home is a sweaty voice in your ear saying- leave, run away from me now i dont know what i've become but i know that anywhere is safer than here...beautiful poem
