Father -- They Don'T -- Know Me
I've been in this town since I was a teen
by Lois Wilson
and to most people I haven't been seen
I've walked around them everyday
and few listened to a word I say.
I came to this town as a young girl
because I were tired of wondering around in the world.
I didn't like walking the streets to sob
that's why I lived in on a job.
I've been sick in my home
and my neighbors left me alone.
Many times I needed to eat
when my neighbors walked by going down the street.
But my love is deeper than the sea
for the little children that come to comfort me.
I'm known mostly by the money lender
where a man is sent by the ones that hinder.
(Father they don't know me)
