Where have all the good fathers gone
To help our young black men in this world
Be pround and strong
They need to be here to keep them out of the streets
So they won't have to grow up sellin drugs, gang bagin, or packin heat
The fathers need to help them stay in school and get an education
Instead of havin their head in the clouds
Always tuned in to see what's on BET, MTV, and the radio station
They need to be here to show them a to respect a woman
An tell them its not all about her pu@%y poppin, ass shakin and giratin
Instead they need to encourage their sons and get to motivatin
So our young black men won't have to grow up
Having a ghostlike father
And no have to get a woman's goodies
To be all hot and bothered
So their son's sons will have someone to look up to
And be able to grow up proud and strong black men
And we don't have to repeat this generational curse
All over again
Where have all the good fathers gone
To help mold our young black men in this world
Be proud and strong
