Fetish

Poem By Oluwaseun Ogunbiyi

Subtle whitish linen gowns
Enchant the hearts in sacred towns...
Leaving bare their holy feet
And clanging bells along the street.
Uttering words of augury
From slippery lips of treachery.
Burning incense spicy flame
With witty chants of sheer blaspheme.
Climbing mountains into trance
And rendering varied hallow dance.
Spilling blood of helpless night
Enlightened candles painted white...
Subtle whitish linen gowns
Enchant the beings of many towns.
