Final Frontier

Pandora, had a box
without a lock
that held, the voice of man.
Pandora, opened the box
without a lock
that held, the voice of man
which said, "xenocide."
Pandora, closed the box
without a lock
that held, the fate of man.
Blinded Found myself, a pedestal,
and sat, atop it,
looking on with knowing eyes,
thought to don,
the guise of godhood.
Never saw the lies,
how low, my pedestal stood,
thought to be higher,
sinking lower,
in the guise of god.
