First Love

Poem By Bill Simmons

Fingers that walk on me
That tip toe like a lamb
Discovering the unseen
And of all that I am

Like the warmth, a gulf wind
I feel your breath on me
As I so become your love
Emotions so run free

The length of your golden hair
As it touches against my skin
Races so my beating heart
As each other we fall in

Fingers that walk on me
Let loose our running hearts
As we discover what love is
As we discover the art

As we so embrace love
And learn so what love is
May your fingers upon my world
I forever remember like this.
