Flesh And Burns

Fire spreads its curling flames
Scorching over splintered planes
And blackens all your gilded fame
Listen closely to all you hear,
The screaming cringe of all your fear,
Of charcoaled memories you once held dear,
Such a Shame,
Now just cinder, soot and ash
Lie here.
Flames lick over your spindled lies
And in the night the screams and cries
Echo, choke and curdle on your tongue.
Like embers in the dead of night,
You spark up an ill-lit light
And all your sins are wrung,
Like punching smoke and tar
From a corrupt, cancer-ridden lung.
