Flight Home

Air borne, how calm and quiet
My thoughts drifting like a gentle blown kite Crazy quilt terrain below, memories of friends
Clouds seem like a snow as winter ends The tilt of wing tips brush the horizon
Then darkness in a full moon and mist den
Most sweet and awesome world and I
Then the earth shows her jewels, I give a sigh The night is ablaze with miniature lights
Down and over are my real and fantasy delights
