Floridian Fall

I thought I would miss
The rows and rows of naked trees,
Bare, dead but alive.
I thought that Florida
Knew nothing of fall.
(A tragedy to any
New England mind.)
I was wrong-
Thanks to Ivan,
I received a taste
Of Floridian fall-
Bare trees,
The sight I love.
