When snow falls gently on the cold dark ground,
by David Beale
my happiness rises beyond compare,
for snow holds beauty that should not be drowned.
my Love is one whose beauty it can share.
loving you takes more from me then you know.
confusion builds in me every day,
because you do not let your feelings show.
but in the end love will prevail, some say.
sweet drops of flakes come crashing up thee.
she lets them hit her tongue and she laughs loud,
beside me filling my body with glee.
how does she do it? I wonder aloud.
free-falling flecks of frozen snow are due,
but there is no point if not spent with you.
