Font Color=black Aged But Never Grew

Born and raised in a cage
life’s lessons
went untaught
lived your life only for others
never knew the luxury of freedom
no voice of your own
no thoughts of your own
there was no you
all decisions made by others
a slave to the dark system
never to be set free
within that cage
you may have aged
but never grew
never became the real you
