For A Man In The Skies

Poem By Sofia Moreno

To the heavens: hear my plea
To the clouds: please bring comfort
To the Sun: please lighten us all…
There, really high above in the skies
Lives a man I barely knew
But this man was one to hold dear
Even now, I see his pictures and I cry
For all the things I couldn’t do:
Take his hand for a walk
Even smile at his silly joke
Not even hug him near my heart
So much grief, oh no…
To the heavens, please hear my call
Talk to this man, this son of yours
Let him know that he is not yet forgotten
Tell him we will not forget him ever…

Change The World

I wonder why I get so sad
I just can't understand
It's not the end of the world
Just transitory pain of my world

Blessing Or Curse?

Oh dear me! Oh dear me!
The stars are becoming dark!
The night is turning red!
The sadness that hunts my heart

I look around me,
People talk and laugh,
they are unaware...
But still I remember,

You Taught Me-

You taught me how to laugh,
You taught me how to cry,
You taught me how to shout,
Don't want to be like that.

Do You?

Your words hurt my heart
Your touch burns my skin
Don’t you get you’re not of my kin?
Don’t you get you’ve got no part?

Black, White And Me

Black and white…Don’t say a word,
Little stars shine down there…
From up here, so little…
Ants rush and rush… Run!
