For You

Poem By stephanie beasley

I HAD A DREAM LAST NIGHT

THAT I DIED

AS I STOOD THERE AT HEAVENS GATES I SAW YOUR FACE

YOU WERE THE ONE I ALWAYS REMEMBER WITH A SMILE ON HER FACE

YOU HELD OUR FAMILY TOGETHER

I THOUGHT YOU WOULD LIVE FOREVER

I HUGGED YOU AS IF I WASNT EVER GONNA LET GO

I REMEMBER ME EIGHT YEARS OLD

SEEING YOU LAY IN YOUR BED

I WENT TO HUG YOU

YOUR SKIN WAS SO COLD

YOU PROMISED YOUD GET BETTER

THAT I WOULD BE ABLE TO GO TO YOUR HOUSE WHEN IT WAS AL OVER

THEN ONE NIGHT I GOT THAT PHONE CALL

I STARTED TO CRY

I THINK SOMETIMES ID BE A DIFFERENT PERSON IF YOU WERE STILL ALIVE

I WISH YOU COULD SEE ME NOW

YOU WOULD BE SO PROUD

YOU WERE ALLWAYS THERE FOR ME

YOU WERE THE ONE PERSON I COULD TRUST

I REMEBER WAKING UP SEEING YOU WITH YOU LONG HAIR

I CAN STILL SMELL YOUR PERFUME IN THE AIR

IN MY DREAM YOU WERE SO WARM

YOU TOLD ME ILL BE OK

THAT YOULL SEE ME AGAIN ONE DAY

I HUGGED YOU ONCE MORE

I TOLD YOU I LOVED YOU

I WOKE UP CRYING

I FELT AS THOUGH I WAS FLYING

I MISS YOU SO MUCH

I KNOW ILL SEE YOU AGAIN

AND EVERYTHING WILL MAKE SINCE

LIKE IT DID BACK THEN

but its broken

The tears that fall
the pain you saw
reality is pain
i cry like rain

One You

Your brown eyes mixed with my blue

two red hearts with love so true

A cry in the dark

A scream no one can hear
