Forest

Her hair flows down long
and black
like a creek
hidden away in a sleeping forest at night

Her eyes pierce
the very depths of ones soul
as a falcon would use its talons
to pierce the flesh of its prey

Her smile is like the sunlight
of the early morning,
warming,
welcoming

Her laughter sounds like the gurgleing
of a broke
or stream
as it makes its way down the mountain side

Her lips are as soft
as the clouds
that pass by on
bright
sunny days

Her skin is rich
like the earth
used to be

Her voice is as quiet as the wind
that whispers
through the pines
during winter

Her heart is like the willows
that weep
silently in the background
