Forged (Boundaries #1)
I forged the boundaries of my mind
Then I threw away the key.
Forgotten, lost in my own insanity,
Never letting anyone in.
I forged my own life and forgot the world.
I lived on a silky wire,
About to trip at any moment.
Stuck within my mind, all alone.
I watched the lovely birds
And the beautiful sky and wonderful flowers,
But none of that mattered.
I was lost and forgotten.
I was the one who forged the walls,
Hammered the iron gates and made the key.
Then I lost it all in the blink of an eye.
Now it's all gone, and here I lay.
