Forgotten

Sitting in a corner disown
Waiting for someone unknown
To fix this evasive damage
From injudicious advantage.

All disapproving eyes on me
I have nothing to do but weep
From the start all I have wanted
Was never to feel unwanted.

Matters got more complicated
My world became isolated
I am still dump in a corner
Firmly holding off the border.

When I almost run out of steam
Out of the blue a light beam
Becomes more clearly visible
Who I saw was unthinkable.

Awoken by my own loud weep
Beside a huge man asleep
Nothing on top either the bottom
Long before I was forgotten.
